Ranipuram

Almost 40 km away from Kanhangad, located in Kasargod district of Kerala. It is an extension of the beautiful mountain ranges of Brahmagiri. It takes about 2.5 -3 KMS trek to reach the peak from the base. The initial ascent is through forest but once the higher levels are reached, the beautiful Shola grassland arrives which offers exquisite views all around which is a feast to our eyes. Thayyeni koomban hills

Thayyeni is an idyllically set place among mountains The Kumban peak one of the highest peaks here is visible from far, though for most part of the year it is covered in mist. Thayyeni is a major tourist attraction for nature lovers with beautiful hills, streams and plantations that forms a green blanket to the place

Posadigumbe

It is an ideal picnic spot and tourist resort located on a hillock 487.68 meters above sea level near Bayar village, 30 km north-east of Kasaragod. From the hill top one can see the Arabian Sea, Mangalore, Kudremukh, etc.Posadigumpe is ideal as a quick drop-by after a visit to Bekal; it stands well on its own as the sole destination. The advantage is that while Bekal Fort will be crowded with tourists, Posadigumpe can afford silence, peace and privacy along with gorgeous views of rolling hills against the backdrop of the Western Ghats.

Manjumpothi

Located 5 km from main town of kanhangad, have a historical belief. During Rama-Ravana War Lakshman was severely injured & vaidyas advice sent Hanuman to bring the medicinal “sanjeevani herbs” from Maruthwamala, Himalaya.But he himself find difficult to identify the sanjeevani herbs from Maruthwamala, bring the entire mountain, On his way some part of Maruthwamala fell down & beliefs ie “Manjumpothi Hills”. Now this serene place attract travellers for its scenic view from top also a perfect place for sunset view.

Marthom

Malom is a small town that lies lazily near the Western Ghats in Kasaragod district. Known as the ‘Coorg’ of Kerala, it is blessed with Nature’s bounty. The word ‘Malom ’means the world of hills. Maruthom thattu (maruthom hills) is main attraction for tourist for trekking mountain biking etc.

Kottanchery

Kottancheri Hills is a part of the Western Ghats in Kasaragod district and an extension of Ranipuram wildlife sanctuary. It is beautiful rain forest near Konnakad. The hills are also ideal for trekking and are credited as trekker’s paradise. Wild elephants, wild dogs, deer, wild pigs, rare birds, butterflies are all abundant here
